I’m CJ Boyer, an artist based in Northern Rivers, NSW, and I thrive on celebrating the unconventional. My art draws from the bold and graphic style of low-brow, where beauty is found in imperfections, the humour in life and individuality. If you’re seeking traditional, pretty paintings, you might want to explore other avenues—but if you value humor and authenticity, you’ve come to the right place!

When I'm not busy creating, you can catch me nurturing my garden or annoying my jiu jitsu coaches. I draw inspiration from artists like Alex Pardee and Camilla Rose Garcia and my playlists are filled with the powerful sounds of Hozier, the tones of Sleeptoken, and the energetic rhythms of Hilltop Hoods. Art is my true passion, and I love to create while immersed in uplifting music.

Growing up along Australia’s eastern coast, I’ve faced my share of relocations (some good, some not so good), lockdowns, and the historic floods that impacted Northern Rivers. These experiences have instilled in me resilience and the knack for finding humor amid chaos (though the ADHD helps too). Each twist and turn in life enriches the stories we convey through our art.
